Boys talk like that when they grow up: Melania Trump

Melania Trump, the GOP nominee’s wife, appears on CNN in the wake of a scandalous recording by his husband, Donald.

Speaking to anchor Anderson Cooper in an interview aired Monday, the Slovenian former model reduced the 2005 sexually offensive remarks to “boy talk,” suggesting the manner is what boys pursue “when they grow up.”

"I heard many different stuff — boys talk," she said. "The boys, the way they talk when they grow up and they want to sometimes show each other, 'Oh, this and that' and talking about the girls. But yes, I was surprised, of course."

She further pointed the finger at Access Hollywood host Billy Bush, who was on a bus with Trump when he was making the lewd comments.

"And as you can see from the tape, the cameras were not on — it was only a mic. And I wonder if they even knew that the mic was on," she added.

She also asserted that she had never heard Trump talk like that, saying, “I was surprised, because that is not the man that I know.”

In the 2005 recording, released by The Washington Post earlier, the former reality TV star is heard bragging about groping women without consent.

A second batch of scandalous remarks by Trump was released by the CNN later, including an audio file, in which Trump shrugs off an offensive comment by a radio host about his daughter, Ivanka.
