Iran’s national football squad have defeated Uzbekistan 1-0 in their group A match in Tashkent.
The visitors put up a great performance and opened the scoring in the 27th minute through Seyyed Jalal Hosseini.
Uzbekistan tried their best to level the scoring. But they struggled to penetrate the Iran backline.
Nevertheless, Queiroz’s team were able to see out the remaining minutes to stay undefeated in Group A. Iran is now leading the standings with 7 point.
