Corbyn back with stronger mandate

While Jeremy Corbyn attracted 59.5 percent of the votes in the 2015 election, he is back to leadership with 61.8 percent, 59% of full party members, 60.2% of affiliated supporters and 69.9% of registered supporters voted in his favor.

Labour’s chances of winning another general election were drastically reduced when it lost Scotland. Now SNP has announced that it is open to backing a Labour government to keep the Tories out of power in Westminster.
