A Dutch architect and innovator has come up with a novel solution that will help polluted cities to clean up toxic air.

He has created the ‘Smog Free Tower’, which is the world's largest air purifier. The tower has been opened to public in Beijing.

It aims to increase people's awareness about environmental problems. The seven-meter-high tower uses ionic filters to charge and remove smog particles by inhaling dirty air and releasing bubbles of smog-free air.

The architect also hopes to collect smog particles from the tower and compress them into smog free jewelry.
