US military aid to Israel

A record military deal between Israel and the United States. Washington has committed itself to giving Tel Aviv at least 38 billion dollars in US tax payers money over the next decade. 

Dr. Zarif's op-ed in The New York Times

Criticism is rising against Saudi Arabia for what many see as the kingdom's increasingly hostile foreign policy, which has already manifested its evil faces in Syria and Yemen. Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, in a recent article published in The New York Times, said the Saudis are using their petrodollars to export the extremist Wahhabi ideology.

Sino-Russian naval exercises

China and Russia began eight-day joint naval drills code-named "Joint Sea 2016" in Zhanjiang in South China's Guangdong Province on Monday. The drills are underway in the South China Sea and include naval surface ships, submarines, fixed-wing aircraft, and other military hardware from both navies.
