Obama demonizing Putin to divert attention from Clinton’s health

"When we are talking about media control, destruction of civil liberties, invading other people’s countries and destroying the economy, Mr. Obama is describing himself," Dankof says.

US President Barack Obama’s recent comments about his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin is a diversion tactic to distract the public from Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s health issue, says Mark Dankof, an American analyst.

During a Clinton campaign event in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday, Obama compared Putin to Iraq’s former dictator Saddam Hussein, claiming that the Russian president rigs popularity polls in his own favor.

Obama made the comments as he blasted Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump for an interview with the Russian television network RT, where the New York businessman gave kudos to Putin for his popularity.

“He loves this guy,” Obama added of Trump’s alleged relationship with Putin, adding that the real estate mogul was “out there praising a guy, saying he’s a strong leader, because he invades smaller countries, jails his opponents, controls the press, and drives his economy into a recession.”

Dankof, a former US Senate candidate based in San Antonio, said by accusing Putin of media control and invasion of other countries, Obama has in fact described himself.

“The United States has the most controlled media in the world-- the six major media consortiums working with the globalist cabal that in fact has put Mr. Obama in the White House,” Dankof told Press TV on Wednesday, adding that those media are now mobilized to get Clinton into office.

Dankof said the Obama administration has been conducting “targeted assassinations” of people who are merely assumed to have terrorist ties.

“So when we are talking about media control, destruction of civil liberties, invading other people’s countries and destroying the economy, Mr. Obama is describing himself as well as the last two or three people that preceded him in office,” the analyst noted.

Another critical point, according to Dankof, was the fact that Putin blocked attempts by Obama and his Israeli allies to overthrow Syrian President Bashar al-Assad from power.

“The United States, Israel, and the Saudis principally have been supporting these Wahhabi Takfiri extremist terrorists that have been trying to overthrow President Assad,” he argued. “Mr. Putin’s intervention in Syria is in the process of insuring that that does not happen.”

“Last but not least, this demonization of Vladimir Putin is a desperate attempt on the part of the president of the Unite States to divert people’s attention from the Hillary Clinton health issue,” he continued.

Rumors about Clinton’s well-being have been haunting her ever since she suffered a blood clot in her brain in 2012.

The 68-year-old former First Lady was forced to abruptly leave a 9/11 memorial in New York on Sunday due to what her doctor said was “pneumonia.”

Her campaign, however, blamed the incident on Clinton simply feeling “overheated.”

The conflicting reports brought a storm of attacks on the campaign from Republicans and Democrats alike, who demanded more clarity on Clinton’s health status.
