A look at the Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, where Iran have bagged their 3rd medal at the Games through Alireza Ghaleh Nasseri.


The Iranian Paralympian claimed Silver in the Men’s Discus Throw - F56 Class, with a personal best throw of 44.04 meters on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Brazil’s Claudiney Batista Dos Santos clinched the Gold Medal with 45.33 meters, while Cuban Leonardo Diaz settled for Bronze. Ghaleh Nasseri’s Medal was Iran’s 2nd Silver, to go with a Single Gold Medal won by Sareh Javanmardi in the Women's 10-meter Air Pistol-SH1 on Friday.
