Pro and anti-government demonstrations have been held in Venezuela’s capital Caracas. Opposition leaders had hoped the event would mount pressure on the electoral council to approve a recall referendum against President Nicolas Maduro. However, government supporters, who turned out in huge numbers, say Maduro will stay in power because requirements for a referendum against him have not been fulfilled. From Caracas, Press TV correspondent Jesus Silva has this report.
