Tall ships festival featuring giant duck in Duluth

Mama Duck, 75-foot rubber duck made her Duluth debut for the Parade of Sail on Lake Superior.

Tall ships from around the world have arrived in the US state of Minnesota to start off a gigantic festival.

This year, the ‘Parade of Sail’ features a huge rubber duck sailing alongside eight ships on Lake Superior.

The giant replica of the favorite squeaky toy, called Mama Duck is as tall as a 6 story building and weighs 11 tons.

The fleet of ships in Duluth is expected to lure in 300,000 people over the four-day festival.
