Iran progress into 2nd round of FIBA Asia Cup

Iran’s national junior Basketball team have progressed into the 2nd round of the 2016 FIBA Asia Under-18 championship, after prevailing over Lebanon in the Iranian capital Tehran.

Iran had posted 2 victories against Indonesia and Kazakhstan before going down to Japan and South Korea in the last two matches of Group B.

However, on Wednesday, The Iranian hoopsters dominated the match from the Outset and took the first Quarter 22-9.

The visitors demonstrated a better performance but not enough to make a difference, as they lost the 2nd frame 22-17.

The Persians manage to Further extend their Supremacy To claim the 3rd and 4th quarters, securing a crucial 76-54 victory against the Lebanese.
