Tour de France: Froome retains overall lead
Starting off with Cycling news and Slovakia’s Peter Sagan has won Stage 16 of the Tour de France while Britain’s Chris Froome retained the overall lead.
The Green jersey holder edged Alexander Kristoff of Norway at the line to claim his 3rd Stage win in this Tour and the 7th of his career.
Sondre Enger, another Norwegian ended his day in 3rd. Defending champion Froome finished in 14th but still managed to keep his Yellow Jersey.
He now leads the overall standings by one minute 47 seconds over Dutch rider Bauke Mollema, with Britain's Adam Yates further back in 3rd.
