Venezuela’s National Assembly, which is ruled by the opposition, has removed a group of judges from the Supreme Court, claiming they were illegally appointed. The parliament has also rejected President Nicolas Maduro's decree to extend his economic emergency plan. Maduro accuses the legislative body of trying to overthrow him by blocking his policies.
