Rights groups urge Saudi Arabia removal from UN Human Rights Council

Prominent rights groups Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have called for the suspension of Saudi Arabia from the UN Human Rights Council. Speaking in New York, the groups’ officials said that their investigators documented unlawful Saudi airstrikes in Yemen as well as Riyadh’s continued human rights violations at home.
