Japanese pilot wins Red Bull Air Race world championship

The third round of the Red Bull Air Race world championship has its winner, and the champion sure made thousands of local fans happy as he was Japanese.

Aviator Yoshihide Muroya, won his first ever trophy of the race on Sunday, after none of his opponents could beat his time.

He maneuvered beautifully along Tokyo’s Chiba beach where the competition was held. In an exciting rivalry, Muroya finished the race in one minute 4-seconds with no mistakes, making it a real challenge for other pilots.

The second place went to Martin Sonka from the Czech Republic, and a competitor from the US came third.
