Pakistan’s President Mamnoon Hussain has formally opened a new parliamentary year in an address to the joint session of the National Assembly and Senate. In his speech that marks the completion of three years of the government of Nawaz Sharif, the President spoke on issues ranging from strengthening democracy to highlighting the importance of ties with immediate neighbors.
