Many charity organizations across Iran have gathered in Tehran on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi.

Many charity organizations across Iran have become more active by organizing festivals of benevolence on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi the twelfth Imam of Shia Muslims. In Tehran, a group of NGOs have gathered truck loads of household items as dowries for brides from low income families. Amir Mehdi Kazemi went to the venue of the event and talked to some people to send us this report.
