Kashmiri people mark "assassination anniversary" of pro-independence leaders

The Indian-ruled Kashmir is observing a shutdown to mark the death anniversary of two prominent pro-independence figures and over 50 other people. Indian authorities have imposed a curfew and restrictions in parts of the Himalayan region to prevent a planned march in remembrance of the victims.
