Construction of the widest bridge in the world will be completed by mid-2016 in Turkey.

The Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge is located north of two already existing bridges, spanning the Bosphorus Strait in the city of Istanbul.

The bridge highway has four lanes and a high speed rail line in each direction. It will also be the eighth longest suspension bridge in the world, measuring over 2,100 meters.

There are two concrete towers on each side with a height of over 300 meters.

The roadway will connect Asia and Europe over the Bosphorus Strait. It is slated to be completed by mid-2016.
