Bayern Munich beats Werder Bremen to reach German Cup final

Thomas Muller’s brace has kept Bayern Munich in the hunt for a treble, as Pep Guardiola’s side overcame Verder Bremen 2-nil to reach the country’s DFB Pokal final.

The Germany international struck the 1st after 30 minutes to give the Bavarians the lead, as he headed home Xabi Alonso's corner.

And it was 2-nil in the 71st minute, when Arturo Vidal was brought down in the area, for Muller to convert the resulting penalty and confirm Bayern's final passage. Their opponents in May's final will be decided on Wednesday when Hertha Berlin face Borussia Dortmund in the second semifinal.
