Iran has summoned Denmark’s temporary chargé d'affaires over acts of vandalism and destruction carried out by four anti-Iran protesters against the Islamic Republic’s embassy in Copenhagen.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry summoned Denmark’s temporary envoy in the absence of its ambassador in protest to the actions which were carried out in violation of international law, and called for a response by the Danish government, IRNA reported on Wednesday.

While offering apologies, the Danish envoy promised to see into the matter and respond accordingly.
