Colombia, FARC miss deadline on reaching peace deal

Colombia and FARC rebels have missed a self-imposed March 23rd deadline to clinch a peace agreement, but pledged to keep trying.This comes as marathon peace talks to end Latin America’s last civil war have been going on for more than three years now. The government and FARC have agreed on most of the points on their agenda, but still have to hammer out a deal on a bilateral, final ceasefire.
