Kashmir seems to have slid into a political turmoil since the death of Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mufti Muhammad Sayed in January. The region’s main parties have so far failed to forge an alliance to form a coalition government. This comes amid a spike in communal violence across Indian territories.
