These are some of the headlines we are tracking for you in this episode of On the News Line:

RUSSIA-US CONCESSIONS

The recent ceasefire deal in Syria signed by Russia and the US involved more than Syria. Russia, speaking from a position of strength due to the victories on the battlefield, may have pushed to get more out of the deal, concessions like the removal of US-EU sanctions against Moscow.

YEMEN: A US WAR?

The Saudi war in Yemen so far has not yielded the results Saudi Arabia wanted. By some accounts, the Saudis have lost that war. But technically, and militarily, the war would not be possible without the US involvement.

FEDERAL MODEL FOR SYRIA

The Russian deputy foreign minister has said that Syria could become a federal state if that model works. He added that regrettably, Turkey is still keen on its cross-border strikes.
