Daesh girl executes 5 women in Iraq’s Nineveh province

A 12-year-old girl associated with the terrorists of the Daesh Takfiri group has reportedly executed five women, including a physician, in Iraq’s embattled northern province of Nineveh.

A local source, requesting anonymity, said that the girl shot dead the women at the Ghazlani military base near the militant-held city of Mosul on Wednesday afternoon, adding that the medical doctor was executed after the terror group accused her of refusing to treat wounded militants, Arabic-language al-Sumeria news website reported.

According to the source, this was the first time Daesh used a girl to carry out an execution.

Mosul fell into the hands of the Daesh terrorists in June 2014 in the first stage of terrorists' advance through Iraq. Iraq’s central government has announced that the army is preparing to retake the city from the Takfiris.

Earlier in the day, the terror group also executed six of its members in the city of Hawijah in the northern province of Kirkuk. They were accused of trying to leave the group and refusing to renew their allegiance to Daesh in a public square. The terror group had reportedly ordered some local gunmen to carry out the decapitations.

Takfirism is largely influenced by Wahhabism, the radical ideology dominating Saudi Arabia and freely preached by Saudi clerics.

Gruesome violence has plagued the northern and western parts of Iraq since Daesh terrorists launched an offensive in June 2014 and took control of portions of Iraqi territory.

The militants have been committing heinous crimes against all ethnic and religious communities in Iraq, including Shias, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians and others.

Iraqi army soldiers and fighters from allied Popular Mobilization Units are seeking to win back militant-held regions in joint operations.
