Iran to construct 2 new nuclear reactors in Bushehr

The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran says the country will soon launch the construction of two new nuclear reactors in the southern city of Bushehr.

Ali Akbar Salehi has told Press TV in an exclusive interview that with the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action reached with the P5+1 group of countries, the international community, and the UN Security Council have recognized Iran’s nuclear activities. He also described the JCPOA as a good deal that allowed Iran to enter the club of countries that can sell their enriched uranium to international markets. The nuclear deal was signed in July 2015 following intensive talks between Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany. After the deal took effect on January 16, all nuclear-related sanctions imposed on Iran were lifted. Iran in return has put some limitations on its nuclear activities. The full interview with the head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization will soon air on Press TV.
