Twenty-four years ago, Ukraine declared independence along with 14 other republics of the USSR.

Yet, the symbols of Socialism are present in everyday life of Ukrainians. Till now.

The new pro-Western government with the support of the young generation started purging streets and the map of Ukraine from reminders of the Soviet past.
