How can Ayatollah Khamenei’s latest letter be implemented?

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei

In a second open letter this year, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has urged the youth in the West to help pave the ground for enhanced interaction with the Muslim world.

In the midst of heightened Islamophobia and knee-jerk reactions to selected terror attacks, Ayatollah Khamenei has again challenged the Western narrative by addressing young people in Europe and North America, urging them to study Islam and to obtain firsthand information about it before accepting their governments’ propaganda.

As the UK becomes the latest nation to begin airstrikes on Syria, in what it claims is a war on Daesh, the Leader’s letter is a stark reminder of the backdrop of extensive acts of terrorism across the globe, rather than just those committed in Paris.

“Anyone who has benefited from affection and humanity is affected and disturbed by witnessing these scenes - whether it occurs in France or in Palestine or Iraq or Lebanon or Syria,” the letter said.

The letter has already attracted widespread conversation on social media.
