US Secretary of State John Kerry has denounced Daesh (ISIL) terrorists as "psychopathic monsters" following the recent deadly attacks in Paris.

Kerry arrived in Paris on Monday for talks after bombers and gunmen launched coordinated attacks in and around the French capital on Friday night, killing at least 129 people and injuring more than 350 others.

"The US and France are not only friends -- we are family," declared Kerry, who is scheduled to meet French President Francois Hollande and Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius on Tuesday.

Kerry, speaking at the US embassy in Paris on Monday, said the terror attacks had not changed plans by US officials to attend a global climate summit in Paris at the end of November.

"We will not change our course or cancel our plans, including our plans to come together in Paris later this month for the UN climate conference," he said.

"And President Obama told me today how much he looks forward to being here and being part of that important moment," the top US diplomat said.

ISIL terrorists, who were initially trained by the CIA in Jordan in 2012 to destabilize the Syrian government, have claimed responsibility for the deadly attacks in France. They now control parts of Syria and Iraq.

However, some independent American analysts like former White House official Paul Craig Roberts say the United States and NATO actually orchestrated the Paris attacks as a “false flag” to enter the Syrian war in order to counter Russia, which has been conducting air strikes in Syria against ISIL terrorists since September 30.

Russian fighter jets have also attacked the CIA-trained militants fighting against the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, according to US officials.

“This was a false flag attack,” Roberts, a former assistant secretary of the US treasury, told Press TV on Monday. “It does not serve ISIL, but it does serve the Western political establishment.”
