The Masoudiyeh Palace, situated in downtown Tehran, is a magnificent attraction that draws many visitors because of its great architecture. This building was constructed in the 19th century during the reign of Nasseredin Shah Qajar.

In this episode, we’ll familiarize you with a number of handicrafts traditionally made in Najafabad. You will see how artisans put their skills into crafting knives, felt hats, special footwear called Giveh and exquisite rugs.

Caravanserais or inns have been around forever. In the city of Semnan, there are several old stone inns. The inns were a place where caravans traveling from China to Europe, would use a resting place. What is also unique about the inns is that they are located along the Silk Road. The road is an old route used by travelers that would go back and forth from Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

In this feature, we visit two important trading centers in Kerman: the Ganjalikhan Bazaar and the Vakil Bazaar. Although the city of Kerman hosts many modern shops and trading centers, the traditional bazaars have a huge role in the city’s industry.
