Agriculture in Aras

On the banks of the Aras River in Iran’s northwest, 51,000 hectares of land were declared a free trade zone in 2005 attracting investors in different sector. Today you can see big changes as far as agriculture is concerned with nearly 2,000 hectares of orchards.

Behrouz Nadjafi takes us to the city of Najafabad in Isfahan to introduce some popular edibles in Najafabad and a couple of historical sites.

Iran is well known for pistachios. The town of Damghan has an important role in Iran's pistachio industry. Reza Nayebi takes us to the city of Damghan to get more about Iran’s Pistachios.
