Russian warships have fired a barrage of missiles at the positions of Daesh terrorists in Syria, destroying the Takfiri group's infrastructure across the country.
Russia’s Defense Ministry says the country’s fleet in the Caspian Sea launched over two dozen missiles at 11 Daesh facilities late Wednesday. The precision weapons hit all the intended targets. Russia's Navy has recently joined the country's air force in conducting anti-terrorist operations in Syria. Moscow says the naval and air raids are meant to help Damascus in its fight against terrorism. Backed by Russian airstrikes, Syrian troops have also begun major ground offensives in the west.
