The significance of Palestine in Islam is evident by the frequent references to it in both the Qur’an and the hadiths of Prophet Muhammad.

Al-Quds (Jerusalem) has strong evocative and emotional associations for Muslims all over the world. It is considered the third-holiest city in Islam after Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia.

It derives its religious prominence from being the first qibla, the initial direction toward which Prophet Muhammad and the early Muslim community turned their faces in prayers.

Al-Aqsa Mosque also known as Baitul-Maqdis in Palestine was the centre of Isra and Miraj of Prophet Muhammad. In this episode we explore the significance of Palestine Muslims.
