Tour of 'Tehran in Qasr' festival

In this feature, we visit a festival called 'Tehran in Qasr'. The festival has been organized to help introduce the culture and traditions of the people of Tehran in the old days. The festival takes place in Tehran's Qasr Museum.

Firefighters protect the safety of the general public by responding to emergencies and putting out fires. Training is commonly offered through local fire department programs or colleges, where candidates go through rigorous written, medical and physical tests. The primary focus of the physical ability test is agility, upper body strength and endurance. Qazvin city and its fire department are hosting the 5th Search and Rescue at Height competition, where several firefighters from different cities all around Iran are showing off their amazing physical skills and abilities!

The 3rd largest city in Isfahan Province, Najafabad, lies to the west of the world-famous city of Isfahan. The people in the city have a reputation nationwide for being fair and offering all kinds of goods at quite reasonable prices. It has lots of things to offer, including a variety of exquisite handicrafts and agricultural produce. It also houses a number of ancient monuments and historical sites. Fatima Masumeh was and is a cherished Muslim woman, who was martyred. Upon her poisoning and before her passing, she made a simple request that after her passing, she be laid out in the city of Qom. Since then, a shrine has been created for her alongside a mosque.
