Pictures of an innocent Syrian toddler’s dead body offshore Turkey mounted pressure on Cameron, forcing him to talk of morality and Britain’s historical role in stabilizing war-torn countries.

However, his claims were swiftly slammed by many arguing Britain claims it is stabilizing the countries that it had a pivotal role in destabilizing and tearing them apart.

Meanwhile, the United Nations (UN)’s Special Rapporteur on privacy’s remarks comparing current Britain with Orwell’s 1984 society has once again brought back the old yet hot story of UK surveillance.
