Yanoun : A dying village

Yanoun is a village near the Palestinian city of Nablus. While most villages have faced Israeli settlement expansion; the extent of the land grab in Yanoun has forced the villagers to leave the area.

The remaining villagers, who are subject to constant Israeli harassment and fall victim to the regime's militarism, remain adamant in their homes.

Khirbet Zakariya, a village that faces the similar predicament of Yanoun, is not allowed to construct any new homes, a matter which has caused many of the villagers to leave and find other places to live, especially young men who wish to start families.
