In Greece, thousands of pro-government supporters have hit the streets of Athens to celebrate as referendum results suggest Greeks are against the terms of a new international bailout.
The Interior Ministry says with almost all ballots counted, only 38 percent have voted YES against 61 percent saying NO to creditor demands for more austerity. Athens says the NO vote will give it a popular mandate to push for a deal on a new bailout. Greece has been locked in months of talks with its international lenders to get more rescue loans to prop up its collapsing economy. The government says the Bank of Greece will immediately ask the European Central Bank to inject emergency cash into its depleted banks.
