At least 23 Palestinians have been killed and another 2,156 abducted by Israeli forces since the beginning of the current year, the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) says.
In a Sunday report, the PLO also said 131 Palestinian houses were demolished in armed operations carried out by Israeli military forces in the first half of 2015 alone.
More than 7,000 Palestinians, many of them without charge or trial, are reportedly imprisoned in 17 Israeli jails and detention centers.
The Israeli army killed at least 42 Palestinians in the first six months of the previous year, the report said.
Last year, over 2,140 Palestinians, most of them civilians, were killed and more than 11,100 others injured during the 50-day Israeli war on the Gaza Strip. Moreover, up to 1,500 children were orphaned in the war, according to the UN.
Israel started pounding Gaza in early July 2014, inflicting heavy losses on the Palestinian enclave. The war ended with an Egyptian-brokered truce in August.
Since 2007, the Gaza Strip has been under a crippling Israeli siege. The blockade, which has cut off the territory from the outside world, has led to an economic and humanitarian crisis in the densely-populated sliver.
