Al-Qaeda-linked militants have launched an offensive to take the city of Dara’a in southern Syria.
Foreign-backed Nusra Front terrorists and allied militants attacked the city with mortars and gas cylinders. Reports say a number of civilians have been killed and injured. Militants on Wednesday announced that they are launching the offensive to capture the city. Most of Dara’a province is in control of anti-Damascus militants but the government has always held the central city.
