It is hardly the case for American and European citizens to have a practical and balanced impression of the Muslim communities from within and their judgments are mostly based on the distorted portrayals of Muslims that the mainstream media present.
Such portrayals are always in line with the global interests of western powers. Motion picture companies such as Hollywood and Walt Disney have a long record of propagating negative portrayal of Muslims and Islamic world.
They bombard the ordinary citizens with cliché of Muslims as the others who are simply intolerant, violent, militant, backward and weak with a strong tendency towards misogyny.
