Aged between 25 and 30, the second man was discovered alive by BA staff at Heathrow.

The two men are believed to have clung on to the aircraft as it flew over 8,000 miles from South Africa to Britain which takes 11 hours.

However, police said It was not immediately clear if the two cases are linked.

"At this time there is no evidence to link the death to the discovery of a stowaway in the undercarriage of a plane at Heathrow Airport; however this is one line of inquiry into identifying the deceased and the circumstances of his death,” the Met Police said in a statement.
