Just days before the 2015 general elections, The press exploded with frenzy filling their front pages with photos of a new over-privileged baby girl, Queen Elizabeth's great granddaughter.

They were all full of talks of fairy tales and “joyful nation”. Many people already struggling with their finances tried to see the royal family as just like themselves.

But behind all these artificial joy, there were reminders of ugly truths that exists in Britain these days. The realities that are reforming the British Society to a Downton Abbey-style society.

The dust was not settled when Britain finally went to the polls on the 7th of may 2015 for the first national elections in 5 years. The surprising results shook Britain and pushed the country into a new phase of its political life.
