ISIL opens Mosul luxury hotel for its commanders

This photo released by the ISIL terrorist Takfiris on May 5, 2015 shows the group’s flags fluttering over the five-star Ninawa International Hotel in the Iraqi city of Mosul.

The ISIL terrorist  group has refurbished the Ninawa International Hotel in the Iraqi city of Mosul for its commanders, reports say.

Photos released by the ISIL Takfiri group on Tuesday have revealed that the five-star hotel is redocorated for the group’s senior commanders visiting from neighboring provinces.

The Ninawa International Hotel, once one of the best hotels of Iraq, was closed down last year when the terror group seized parts of the country.

The hotel, located in the ISIL stronghold, has 262 rooms divided over 11 floors and boasts tennis courts, a swimming pool, water features in its interior, reception with marble floors, gardens lined with palm trees and dazzling views over the Tigris River.

ISIL militants use expensive floor polishers to restore the glory of the five-star hotel.

The building’s exterior decorations and carvings have all been destroyed with sledgehammers, while bars and ballrooms have been boarded up.

ISIL has also changed the name of the hotel to 'Waritheen', which literally means 'heirs' in Arabic.

The northern and western parts of Iraq have been in chaos since ISIL started its campaign of terror in early June 2014. The terrorists are in control of the second-largest city of Mosul and have swept through parts of the country’s Sunni Arab heartland.

Since then, Iraq’s army has been joined by Kurdish forces, Shia volunteers and Sunni tribesmen in operations to drive the ISIL terrorists out of the areas they have seized.
