Bacterial wilt threatens Ugandan Banana farms

Uganda is the world’s second largest producer of Bananas, one of the most important staple food crops in East Africa.

But they are now under threat from the bacterial wilt disease, which has substantially contributed to heavy losses, leaving many farmers worried about what the future holds.

Daniel Arapmoi reports on what scientists are doing to solve the issue.
