US troops in Ukraine to escalate crisis: Commentator
Press TV has conducted an interview with Dmitry Linnik, a political commentator in London, to discuss the deployment of US troops to Ukraine to allegedly train the Ukrainian National Guard (NGU), which is fighting pro-Russia forces in the east of the country.
Linnik argues that the dispatch of the US forces to Ukraine while the country is in the grip of a civil war will only escalate the situation.
He says Washington and Kiev are trying to resolve the situation by military force, adding that sending these troops along with lethal aid counters efforts for a peace settlement of the crisis in Ukraine.
