Iranians have staged mass rallies across the country to express their anger at the relentless Saudi aggression against Yemen.
Chanting slogans against the Al Saud regime on Friday, the demonstrators in the Iranian capital, Tehran, and many other cities denounced the ongoing Saudi crimes in Yemen.
The protesters also condemned Washington’s support for Saudi Arabia's aggression against the impoverished Arab country. They also said Riyadh would be defeated in the war.
People in Iran have held several massive protests against the Saudi attacks on Yemen since the invasion began over three weeks ago.
On April 13, Iranian protesters staged a rally outside the Saudi Embassy in Tehran to condemn the kingdom's airstrikes on Yemen.
During the protest rally, the large group of angry demonstrators also shouted slogans against the Saudi royal family, the US, and Israel.
Saudi Arabia started its military aggression against Yemen on March 26, without a UN mandate, in a bid to restore power to the fugitive former president, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, who is a close ally of Riyadh.
According to sources in the Yemeni army, around 2,600 people have been killed during the Saudi aggression.
The humanitarian situation in Yemen is rapidly deteriorating. Many international aid organizations have sought clearances to dispatch medical and other humanitarian supplies by air and sea to civilians in need.
