Press TV has conducted an interview with Sa’ad al-Muttalibi, with the State of Law Coalition from Baghdad, to discuss the recapture of the western city of Ramadi from ISIL Takfiri terrorists by the Iraqi forces.

Muttalibi says Ramadi is a “vital point” in the battle against ISIL, adding that it should be fully liberated before any serious attacks on the strongholds of this terrorist group in the western city of Mosul in Anbar Province.

He also believes this victory has embarrassed the elements that attempt to create division between the army troops and popular volunteer forces.

Muttalibi further emphasizes the need for regional cooperation in order to ease the tensions in the Middle East, adding that such collective efforts will create a better atmosphere for the Iraqis in their battle to defeat ISIL and struggles to build a new platform for peace in the region.
