Mystery of British ISIL executioner

Jihadi John (AFP)

Gruesome footage of a masked ISIL terrorist beheading hostages has sent shockwaves across the world.

Media claim that the executioner’s true identity is now revealed as Mohammad Emwazi, a 27-year-old former computer programmer.

While such narrative continues to evolve, there remain pressing questions about the credibility of the claims.

Is it possible that this school was being used to groom future subjects for clandestine operations? How did the intelligence agencies precisely identify the ISIL executioner last September, given the fact that the terror person was seen masked in every video appearance? How can the authorities claim to have identified the video character of their alleged perpetrator, based solely on a "voice match" which could easily have been overdubbed on top of a video?

This episode presents arguments about contradictions between official narratives about ISIL perpetrator’s true identity and the facts on the ground.
