John Wight, a journalist and political commentator in Edinburgh, has been interviewed by Press TV to share his thoughts on the remarks made by the European Union (EU)’s foreign policy chief, who recently said the EU will not to be pressured into a confrontation with Russia over Ukraine.

Wight believes the West is well aware that any intensification of the conflict with Russia over Ukraine would be disastrous, adding that the West cannot not win such a potential confrontation. He also argues that the public opinion in the West is not buying the demonization of Russia.
