French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said on March 3 that since last October around 60 drone sightings have been reported over nuclear plants in the country or over Paris.
French police said mysterious flights took place near the US embassy, the Invalides military museum, the Eiffel Tower and several major Paris ring roads.
No arrests have been made in connection with the night-time flights and it is unclear whether they are conducted by pranksters, tourists or something more malicious.
