Netanyahu should be banned from visiting US: Analyst

US President Barack Obama (R) and Israeli Premier Benjamin Netanyahu

Press TV has conducted an interview with Mike Harris, finance editor of Veterans Today from Portland, to discuss Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s planned address to a joint meeting of the US Congress.

The political commentator maintains that Netanyahu should be banned from visiting the United States due to his involvement in war crimes and crimes against humanity. He adds that the Israeli premier has committed numerous crimes against Palestinian women and children during the Tel Aviv regime’s 50-day war on the besieged Gaza Strip last summer.

Harris also points out that a large number of lawmakers of both Republican and Democratic parties are owned by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), one of the most influential lobby organizations in the country.

The analyst concludes by saying that the American democracy was in grave danger due to the growing Israeli influence in the US politics.
